The Viper's whole argument is the pattern. The aluminium body is cut with a fine guilloché scale — reptile skin, hence the name — and it gives the barrel a texture you notice the moment you pick it up. The satin grip section is left plain so the engraving doesn't fight your fingers.
The magnetic cap is the detail people fall for. It closes with a soft slide and pulls clean, and it posts if you prefer a longer pen in hand.
Inside is a hooded stainless steel nib, supplied in a single Fine/Medium width. It fills by converter or standard international cartridge, and both a converter and a cartridge come in the box.
