The LAMY Z27 converter fills a LAMY Studio, and other LAMY pens outside the Safari family, from any bottle of ink. Twist to draw ink, and the whole ink wall opens up to your pen.
The steel-nib Studio comes with a cartridge, not a converter, so this is the piece to add if you want to use bottled ink.
For the Safari and AL-Star, use the Z28 converter instead.
