Tree Note Cards, Set of 5

Five note cards with a tree design and matching envelopes, made for the short letters that matter: a thank-you, a note of sympathy, a line to someone far away.

Each card is handmade in Kathmandu by small cottage workshops and women's co-ops, using Lokta paper. Lokta comes from the bark of the Daphne shrub, which grows back after harvest, so the paper is made without felling a plant. The result has a soft, fibrous texture that takes ink well and feels good in the hand.
