Calico Journal, 5x8

A 5x8 journal with a calico cat on the cover, small enough for a bag and made for lists, notes, and the thoughts worth keeping. A natural gift for the cat person who writes things down.

The journal is handmade in Kathmandu by small cottage workshops and women's co-ops, using Lokta paper made from the bark of the Daphne shrub. Only the bark is harvested, so the plant grows back, and the pages keep the soft, fibrous texture of handmade paper.
